Toby Keith, country singer and song writer is starting his newest tour this weekend. The singer, who has been on the top since the 1998s, with his best known and most played country song of the 90's "Should've Been a Cowboy", after twelve years, is still capable of winning the audience's heart. In the American Ride Tour he will be performing his newest hits from the 2009 album with the same title. The Album contains hits like "American Ride", "Every Dog Has Its Day" and "Cryin For Me". Most of its songs were written by the singer, but country singer and song writer partner Bobby Pinson also collaborated on some of the tracks. "Cryin For Me" is a touching song written for Wayman Tisdale, the basketball and guitar player, a good friend of Toby Keith's who died in May last year.

Toby Keith's concert schedule starts at the end of July in Washington state, and goes through California, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Connecticut, ending at the end of September in Massachusetts. It seems like a hot summer for country music fans. The aging singer, who even wrote a couple of songs about him not being as young as he used to be, is well known for putting a smile on our faces not only with his melodious songs but also with his ironical and funny videos.
